Ducky

Hi, my name is Ducky, if you’re looking for a sweet tempered pup to snuggle up with and keep you company then I’m your good boy!

I am a 12 month old Lab x German Shorthaired Pointer (and maybe something else),? and was found roaming around rural NSW. They placed pups in my pound to keep them conforted because I was such a calm boy.

I am very gentle and good natured with people, and love to find a good spot to sleep, in the sun, by your feet, on the couch and on your lap.

I am very dog and people friendly, but prefers a quieter home as I am new to living closely with humans. I will sit and wait for food on command, and am learning recall very well.

I walk very well on the lead, am happy to have a slow stroll with sniff breaks along the way. I love to play tug and run around with my doggy friend, and I have been learning to play tug and chase with people too. With more practise I will learn to play fetch too.

I am toilet trained, will either go out myself or ask to go out, and will happily sleep in my crate, but also your bed if you let me. I am really clever and love learning new skills with yummy rewards.

My perfect home would have a doggy friend who likes to play, and humans who want to spend time snuggling and patting me. I like adults and kids but I prefer a quieter environment. I'm ok with cats, I like to play but not chase them. I will need secure 6 foot fences (as I can jump smaller ones) and some backyard space to zoom around in.
