About Raisin
Raisin (answering to Rosie/Rose) is the sweetest girl you could hope for. While she clearly hasn’t had the easiest start to life, she is still friendly and loving and immediately wins the hearts of everyone she meets.
We would describe Raisin as an 18 month old Bull Arab female who has thrown more to the leaner greyhound/pointer breed. She was found wandering in Rural NSW and never claimed so we have absolutely no history on her.
Raisin hasn’t had exposure to a lot of the things that come with being a loved, included member of a family, so she will need a family who is willing to be patient with her while she learns the ropes. However; she has embraced all experiences so far with a wag of the tail.
Raisin is still working on her basic training but is eager to please and this clever girl will pick up training very quickly. She is nearly toilet trained with only a few accidents, so she is well on her way.
Raisin is an athletic, energetic dog who will need daily walks or exercise at a park. She has proven to be very gentle, tolerant & affectionate with small children, often seeking out play & companionship with kids around her.
Raisin has been friendly with any new dogs she meets at the park & has quickly fit in with 2 other dogs in her foster home. She has also been exposed to chickens & has shown curiosity, but nothing more. She has not met any cats, so we are not sure how she'd react.
Raisin’s lucky forever home will include her as an inside dog & have time to invest in her, as she provides a loyal & loving companion by your side.
