Meet Zinnia, the gorgeous goofball with a personality as vibrant as his floral namesake! This Staffy x Heeler x Jack Russell mix is just 10 months old and bursting with love, energy, and playful charm.

Zinnia is incredibly smart and eager to learn. He mastered sit, drop, shake, and the doggy door in just ONE day, proving how quickly he picks up new skills. He remembers all his commands and continues to improve daily. While he’s working on curbing his excitement—especially jumping—he’ll thrive with a family that can continue guiding him through his training.

This affectionate pup would do best with an active family or person who can keep him mentally and physically engaged. He has the energy to burn and would love a home where playtime and training are part of his daily routine. While he’s been great with little ones aged 1 and 3, he may be better suited to a family with older, dog-savvy kids who understand his enthusiastic nature. If cuddles are your thing, you’re in luck—Zinnia is a total smooch and a proud bed hog who loves nothing more than curling up beside his favorite people.

Zinnia is dog-friendly and has been fantastic with his foster brother, a Mastiff mix. He was also noted as dog-friendly by the pound, making him a great companion for another canine friend. His compatibility with cats is unknown. He’s still learning how to walk well on a leash—he’s strong and will need continued leash training to ensure he’s a polite walking buddy.

When left alone, Zinnia can be a bit mischievous. He has a knack for bench surfing and sneaky toy theft when he’s bored, so enrichment and engaging activities are a must to keep him occupied. With the right toys, puzzles, and play sessions, he’ll stay happy and out of trouble.
