Stilton

My name's Stilton (or Hippo as I like to be called), I'm a 6.5 year old blue staffy and I'm currently interviewing for a home.

I LOVE people! I love getting pats and cuddles from them, playing with them, sitting with them and going for walks with them. I don't mind meeting other dogs while I'm out and about, but I'd like to have a family to myself so I can get all the attention.

People are my favourite dogs. I haven't lived with cats or other animals. I can get a bit energetic and mouthy (I'm working really hard on this though), so a home with older or no kids would be ideal.

I've been through a lot of changes in the last few months so I can be a little nervous and anxious, but I'll quickly settle and show you my huge grin! Just show me some love and understanding while I learn, and I'll work super hard to please you and cover you in kisses.

I've been working on my manners and obedience, and I'll only get better as my family continues my training. I love food (except veggies - who wants to chew on a carrot right!?! ). If you ask, I'll even sit and wait before I devour my breakfast and dinner.

I'm very quiet for a staffy, but if you need to find me I'll be right behind you - I'll follow you everywhere. I'm house trained - I'm working on using a dog door, but most of the time I'll stand next to the door so you can let me out...and come with me! I'm also getting used to sleeping in my crate, but if you'd like some company on your bed then I'm happy to oblige.

I go for walks once or twice a day, I have excellent manners on a leash and will walk at your side...I have been told many times I have one of the funniest walks you'll ever see! I love playing with toys, especially tennis balls and rope toys. If I'm having a really good time I'll set off on zoomies - watch out! I also love water!
