About Aura- Dingo
Hi my name is Aura, I'm a sweet, shy, pocket size pup (just 16kg!) on the hunt for a home of my own. It can take me a couple of days to warm up to strangers, but once you win me over I'm affectionate and gentle and love a scratch behind the ears or under the chin. I can take a bit longer to make friends with men, but love women and older quiet kids are great to (8+).
I am generally good with males dogs, but would prefer not to live a female dog and I can't live with cats or small animals due to prey drive. It would be pawesome if my new home had another dog or dingo to keep me company and help build my confidence.
I know my name and how to sit for a treat. I walk well on lead, I'm ok in the car and usually travel in a crate, but could ride on the back seat or in the boot with some practice.
I need a secure yard with at least a 1.8m tall fence with a secure base to prevent digging i.e. sleepers or pavers. My rescue group are more than happy to help with securing your fencing before I come home with you.

Dingo Adoption:
1. Send an email inquiry with your name and contact details outlining your current living situation, pets and family members and anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes typically require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Goulburn shelter or their foster carers' home and let us find the right furry family member for you. We can also come to you. We are happy to meet new prospective owners anywhere in NSW or the ACT.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
