Mulberry

Mulberry is a gorgeous 5 year old female cattle dog X. She was found in an abandoned house with another dog. She’d been left with a bag of food that’d been cut open and gone mouldy 😭

She was absolutely emaciated when the ranger found her. When first coming into foster care she didn’t enjoy food and was nervous around it to start with. She has now reignited her love of food (she’s recently discovered that she loves cheese 🧀) and has been gaining weight beautifully over the past few weeks - she is no longer afraid of eating and drinking.

She has a very quiet temperament - her foster family have never even heard her bark! She is happy to follow them around and lay down nearby. She will come when called and sit on command.

Mulberry is relaxed and happy to spend time with her foster carers 18 month and 3 year old grandchildren.

Her foster family have been building up time left alone, Mulberry is showing no signs of distress after 3-4 hours alone.

She loves to go out in the car running errands or visiting parks/family. She would make a great companion for someone home a lot as she just loves being nearby you, potentially someone working from home or retirees. She has shown interest whilst on walks towards bunnies and she is also quite interested in the families pet bird, so no pocket pets or birds please.
