Initially seeming a bit reserved, Sunny soon warms up with some patience and plenty of love, revealing that she is resilient, adaptable, and has a funny, cheeky, and playful side.

She has occasionally relocated toys from the toybox, engaged in chasey with a couple of the younger dogs, and has a cute spring in her step when she gets excited.

Sunny has been living with other dogs in foster care and would be suited to a home with another well-matched dog, or as a single dog that gets to socialise with others on her daily outings.

She enjoys at least one walk for the day and has proved to be trustworthy off lead, often walking in a heel position without being asked.

Being a mature lady, Sunny needs plenty of time to be able to sniff at her own pace, so she isn’t suited as a jogging or cycling partner. The majority of her day is spent snoozing on a comfy dog bed or on the couch or bed next to you, living her best life in retirement as cherished indoor best friend.

Sunny has good recall, knows “sit”, jumps in the back of the car and travels well. She doesn’t jump up on people or lick kids faces, she doesn’t bark or steal food, and has been letting herself out for the toilet if she has access (she will obviously need time to become familiar with the environment/routine at her new home).

Sunny is a ready-made pet with very little work to do, suiting so many potential homes… a dream dog in many ways.
