About Stan
Introducing the Amazing Stan the man!
Stan is an approximately 1 year old male desexed Bull Arab cross.
He was in a NSW pound after a not so great history where he was starved and the ranger threatened to shoot him due to overcrowding
As a result, Stan loves his food and wolfs it down.
Mr Stan likes counter surfing so will need training to stop. He does not resource guard though and is just such a docile boy.
He loves being with his family wherever they are and enjoys spending time with them. He truly loves being your shadow.
Stan adores children and would love child playmates to much about with in the back yard and take care of
He has just started playing with toys and chasing and playing with balls.
As he is the perfect height for children, he will try taking food out of their hands, it appears he has not been taught that this is not very gentlemanly behaiviour.
His new family must take him to do some training as being a larger dog is quite strong and can be a little bit intimidating. He does jump up excitedly when people come home, so experience with large breeds and training is a necessity.
With ongoing training, Stan will learn how to walk nicely on a lead as he will immediately gravitate towards other dogs.
He is great with other dogs and would love a doggy playmate. He originally lived with another dog in NSW.
Stan is the bestest boy and goes to the toilet outside but will need reminding and a regular schedule to help him not have accidents inside.
Stan is currently fostered with an elderly cavoodle and he looks to her on what to do and where to go during the day.
He is such a relaxed boy and deserves a home where he is loved and truly apart of the family.
Stan currently sleeps beside his foster mums bed and moves around to wherever he feels comfortable.
He does not like being left alone for too long so would appreciate being with someone more often than not.
Stan has been tested with cats and is not phased by them at all! He is the perfect family dog!
He is such a placid, loyal and docile boy that would really benefit from a loving home to see his full potential.
Stan will be missed at his foster mums so much but cant wait to see what his new family will have to offer him for many years to come!
