Dusty is still in his adolescent puppy phase so has loads of energy to burn and is still learning. He is a smart boy and is responsive to commands. His confidence has grown so much in such a short time and he is so easy to love as he is a massive snuggler - he thinks he is a tiny puppy in a big boy's body.
His current foster family is a busy household and he is sharing his home with 4 humans, a 7 year old female staffy, a 5 year old male mini-foxie, an 8 month female cattle cross pup and a cat. He gets along with everyone.
Dusty walks on lead really well, but don’t plan to get anywhere in a hurry as he is a plodder and walks at a very relaxed speed. He’s very responsive off-lead as well. He has worked out where everything is - he now uses the doggy door and all his toileting is outside.
He loves his food and not food protective at all. His favourite games at home are tug-of-war with the rope and running around in circles in the back yard with the other puppy until totally exhausted. Dusty’s most favourite thing is going to the dog beach - he’ll swim for hours if you let him and run around sniffing, kissing and playing with all the other dogs.
He sleeps mostly spread out on the cool tiles during the day as he gets really hot, and more recently at night in a crate. He really appreciates this space just for him as the other puppies can be a bit much for him at times.
Dusty loves having fur brother and sisters but we're sure he would adapt into any loving environment, as long as he is allowed to have the occasional treat, go on fun walks, is taken for a swim now and then, is allowed to jump up on the lounge for kisses, and gets his daily cuddles.
