About Tabasco
Hello future fur family, please meet Tabasco, though he answers to Max!
Tabasco is an 18 month old male stumpy tailed red heeler x with who knows what breed?? he has long legs, so he is taller than a regular Australian Cattle Dog and no tail to speak of!!!
Being a cattle dog, his second name should be either glue or velcro, they are always close to you. He is very gentle and just loves cuddles or any type of affection. Tabasco just really enjoys hanging out with any human, especially gravitating towards men.
Tabasco is really gentle even when jumping up which we are working on stopping. He walks quite well on a lead and will sit and wait before crossing the road. He looks up at you until you say the word “heel”. He loves going in the car and like all working dogs, has to make sure your going straight ahead.
Tabasco (Max) has been cat and child tested, he has shown no signs of aggression towards the cats. I wouldn’t say he’s perfect with them only because he keeps going into the cat enclosure. I would say that he would love to be friends with them, even though they aren’t that keen. He has been super chilled around kids and enjoyed all the attention they gave him.
I would say Tabasco would suit a family or couple with or without a youngish dog (ours is elderly and getting grumpy), having a dog is not essential as long as he is getting heaps of attention and walks.
