About Cash
Are you looking for a gentle, eager to please addition to your family who is dog and child friendly - then Cash the wonder dog might just be for you.
He is a male kelpie X, 18 months old happy with one good walk a day and a run around the yard fetching his favourite ball (but also loves a second walk if you have time or the odd short run).
He is great on the lead and did we mention he doesn’t bark when people come to the door, sits while you put on his lead and has amazed vets by letting them cut his nails with no fuss.
And THOSE ears! He would love a family with dog confident children who will play ball and other games with him but can reinforce boundaries if he gets a little over excited.
He will need a home where the family will continue his training (he can sit, lie down, wait) and help him in some areas - he does show some anxiety when in the yard if he hears a new sound or neighbouring dog.
He is also not the biggest fan of car travel, and is a bit noisy for the first 5-10 mins of most car journeys.
Cash is crate trained but prefers to just sleep on his bed in a room with one of his humans - where he stays all night until you get up the next day.
Cash has SO much love to give, and has the mildest temperament - calm and happy in a variety of social settings like cafes and large social gatherings.
He will cuddle anyone who gives him their time and loves a belly rub. He sleeps most of the day at his foster mums feet while she works and would definitely prefer someone who is home most of the time but can be left for the occasional day with stimulation activities.
He cannot go to a home with cats and has had some food sensitivities which need specialist food when they flare up so any forever home needs to factor this cost in to his care.
Ps. He loves a beanbag to sleep on!
