About Scout
Hi, My name is Scout! I’m a Bull Arab mix, approximately 2 years old & I LOVE to play!
My favourite game is fetch but also enjoy my soft teddies as I throw them around and catch them. I also like Tug of war and wrestling with other doggies too – after a good play session I like to splash in the pool & roll around on the grass. The pool is nicer than the hose though, I mean, I put up with the hose but prefer to splash in my own time!
My foster mum keeps telling me I’m a massive goof-ball but I don’t know what that means… she works from home so she’s let me stay inside with her & my 2 new doggy friends that live there so I’ve been learning all the inside dog rules. I also keep her feet warm whilst she works as I always want to be near her, she’s nice, she feeds me. We all go for walks in the mornings and afternoons and I’m usually pretty good but if I REALLY want to sniff something, I do! I have a funny little quirk – I have two different bark modes! There’s a high-pitched playful one and my deep scarey one that I save for unexpected guests…. I need to make sure my pack is safe!
I really do love my food, I’ve been trying to learn some manners when it comes to dinner time but I just get so excited to eat!! I think I’m getting better though as I’ll wait for my food now but have stolen a couple of things from the table. I do get cranky at the other doggies so I have to eat separately from them so I don’t upset anyone.
I’d love to go to an active family that maybe has some kids to play with and even another dog would be OK – not too little as I might knock them over in my excitement (the kids & the other doggo). I enjoy being part of the household and just LOVE a cuddle, I just want to be with you all the time but I’m sure I could get used to short periods alone if I had something to do, like a big tasty bone!!!
Look forward to meeting you soon – yours truly, Sir Fartsalot.
