Hello my name is Socks, and I'm a chilled, happy-go-lucky boy who is looking for his forever home.

I love being with my foster family, especially my fur foster brother who is a cattle dog X. We rumble and tumble multiple times a day and although I'm bigger than him I play gently without any issues. I haven't really learnt how to play with balls but I do love a good lizard hunt in the garden.

When I arrived, I already knew how to sit and had fantastic recall (way better than my fur foster brother). Within two days I was sitting and waiting to eat my dinner. My foster mum says I'm a very clever boy and a fast learner.

I have a medium energy level and enjoy my daily walk but if we don't go it's okay - I don't play up or sit at the front door and beg. On my walks I can sometimes pull if an interesting smell takes my fancy. I love to sniff every blade of grass, tree, pole...you name it, and I smell it.

I am fully toilet trained and take myself out the back through the doggy door to do my business. Sometimes getting in the car makes me anxious but my foster mum usually has treats to get me in so it's not that big of a deal.

We had a 3 year old girl (who was loud and full of energy) stay with us for a week and I was so gentle with her. I never knocked her over once. She was just the right height for me to give her kisses on the nose sometimes. My other foster brother is 8 and I'm best buds with him too.

I don't really like it when my foster family go out with out me, and I do try to get to them so I will need 6 foot fences to keep me in.

I just love sleeping inside, I started off in a crate but now I just sleep on the lounge or floor if it's too hot.

I would definitely suit a home with another dog who likes to play, especially if you will be going out to work most days.

Overall I am super friendly and just looking for a family to love me and pat me.
