About Piper
Piper has been a pleasure to have around. She has a sweet and gentle nature. She loves a cuddle and a zoom around, throwing around her toys and maybe a shoe if she gets the chance to grab one. But also enjoys to lounge around.
She has been fantastic with the kids interested in what they’re doing but not too jumpy to knock them over. Due to the fact we expect her to mature 30-35kg, kids 10 years and older would suit best.
She loves to meet new people. She is great with dogs- loves to follow around her foster sister and extremely respectful working out that she’d rather not play. But when meeting a younger more energetic dog she loved a game of chacey. Piper also enjoys to snuggle with the other dogs and would love a k9 sibling in her new home.
Piper has also been comfortable staying on her own when her foster sister has gone for a walk- she barked a few times when we left but found her snoozing when we came home.
Piper hasn’t had much of a chance with the cat as he prefers to keep his distance- their meetings have been brief and she has barked with anticipation and uncertainty but no aggressions. She approaches anything new cautiously but quickly settles and seems to enjoy exploring new places. She is crate trained and sleeps all night without a peep. She is Learning to sit and walk nicely on the lead. Toilet training is coming along well. She enjoys a car ride and is so super loveable.
She would suit a home with a medium to large yard. Patient and kind, committed to her ongoing training and socialisation. As always we recommend our dogs attend puppy school/ obedience training.
She is ready and waiting for her new forever home. Located in Whittlesea for meet and greets

Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide, or if your home is not what is suited based on the pets profile we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 -48 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which we will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet.
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. If this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you. Meet and greets are on Saturdays or unless prior arrangement has been made. Please note your meet and greet will be organised the first weekend available from an approved application, we try our best to accomodate but again we can not hold animals.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
