About Lime Pickle
I have lived with my human foster family for the past 2 months. My cat sister, Chilli Pickle aka Ava, lives here too. My sister and I were not well when we arrived. Great news, we have fully recovered and are now ready to be adopted!!
I am a people kitten and love human contact. I need my regular cuddles and knee time. I also love to sleep on my human grandma's bed at nights usually at the bottom of the bed!
I tolerate my 3yo human brother and do not scratch or bite him. I allow him to pick me up and give me cuddles. I also allow my human mum and grandma to pick me up and cuddle me as often as they want. And I do love my cuddles!! You will know by my loud purring when I am happy.
I do need a 'go to' hiding place to 'get away' from my foster brother and the noise of the hoover.
I love playing with my toys!!Especially marbles. I love when my human grandma rolls them along the corridor and I go chasing after them at full speed. Then I sit and stare at my human grandma demanding that she rolls another marble. I have her well trained! I have loads of other toys and take turns playing with them. I especially love large paper carrier bags and jump in and out of them.
Any open cupboard needs to be explored! My human grandma has shut me in a cupboard a few times not realising that I was inside!
I love my tummy being stroked usually in the evenings and at bed times. And my purring become much louder when I am being cuddled and stroked. I am a snuggly kitten and enjoy attention. I can be vocal at times but my foster family say that this is lovely to hear me interacting.
I love 'sun bathing' at windows or on the windowsills and can regularly be found beside one.
My only dislike is loud noises such as the hoover. I become quite frightened and need to go to my hiding place until the noise reduces or stops.
My daily routine involves waiting patiently for my humans to wake up. I leave the encouraging of my human grandma to get up to my cat sister!!
I do want my breakfast as soon as my human grandma gets up. If not, I follow her around until she gets the message! I do meow when I am hungry.
Favourite quirks about me - I love stretching my back and lying with my paws above my head. This lets my foster family know that i would welcome tummy rubs!! I also enjoy investigating ie shopping bags, open cupboards and cardboard boxes. Just like my cat sister! I can often be found having an afternoon nap on my foster brother's high bed along with my cat sister. I have come to accept that dinosaurs are part of my foster brother's life!!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
