About Liam and Matou
This bonded pair of boys have really been through it, but are now ready to share their love, happiness and antics with their new fur-ever family!
Matou is the bigger brother who we believe to be approx 7 weeks older than Liam so note - it is Liam's age is displayed in this profile.
About Liam (striped coat) - the energetic little survivor.
When Liam came into care he was just a handful of kitten and was diagnosed with Fading Kitten Syndrome. Basically, his chances of survival were slim. And for the first two weeks it was a rollercoaster ride with him - one day it looked like he was getting stronger only to go to the vet again the next day. But in the end all turned out good, Liam´s little fighting heart prevailed and due to all the attention he was given he turned out to be incredibly sociable.
Liam loves to hang out with people or his siblings (Rosie's profile can also be viewed - https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/932815) and yells out if he can´t find someone to hang with. He is very playful and curious (everything has to be inspected and checked for potential playability), is very affectionate (he loves to give kisses and head bumps), and will adapt rapidly and get along with humans and cats alike.
About Matou (pronounced Ma-too, black and white coat) - the gentle giant and awesome entertainer.
Matou came into care when he was around 8 weeks old and was extremely shy. His love of food became the driving factor for him to become more sociable, along with meeting his foster brother and sister.
Matou just loves his snacks and has learnt to sit before getting a treat. He always makes people laugh with his funny antics, everything about him makes you smile. He loves to slide-tackle an empty Woolies bag and than hide in it just to pounce on his unsuspecting brother (or get pounced on cause he can´t see whats behind him).
Matou loves company, especially that of his brother, but doesn’t tend to fret if left alone for a number of hours. He will need the support of Liam, along with a little bit of time, to get fully comfortable in a new home but then he´ll be a loyal and affectionate companion.
