About Louie
Louie is ready to find his new home. He is a very smart boy and is very much a thinker. Not overly clingy, he is happy for pats and cuddles then will go on his way exploring his surroundings with great interest.
Louie has been tried on sheep and has some interest, having only seeing them twice. He is not flat out like his brother but can definitely hold his own with natural instinct. So either a working home with time to spend on him with maybe another working dog to show him the way and boost his confidence or an active pet home where his family will spend time training him in all sorts of new and fun things.
Louie travels well in the car or dog crate. Has been around lots of other dogs and has spent some time with the non reactive cat in residence at his foster home and has been no trouble.
Louie will go into his yard at meal times with the command “ in your yard” and will sit and wait for his meal to be placed in-front of him. He can sit on command and will gladly take a treat in return for doing the right thing.
If going to a pet home he will need toys, games, bones and things to keep his mind occupied while you are away and a secure yard. He has not spent any time in the house so would need house training if that is desirable in his new home.
