About Titan
Titan is a gentle soul who has a happy temperament which makes him a perfect family pet. He is not a needy fellow and is quite content to lay away from his mates overseeing their playtime, all awhile having his front legs crossed.
Titan is a social boy who mixes with 11 other GSD dogs as well as Kelpies and Chihuahuas of both sexes.
He loves his twice daily free runs together through his foster carer’s paddocks, he loves swimming down the river too.
He is not interested in coming inside and prefers being out in the yard sunbaking.
Titan has basic manners however he does pull if walking him on lead so would suggest a martingale or haltie.
Titan has not been tested around cats, but is well behaved around chickens, sheep and horses (which are well fenced separately).
Athena is the perfect match with Titan. Their first owners gave them a terrific start to life however they both outgrew their small back yard and they wished for both to go to a bigger place to run free and exercise.
It is imperative that they stay together. Athena and Titan have lived together all their lives and even had 3 litters of pups with their first owners before coming to rescue and being desexed.
This bonded pair need a large back yard, they are used to sleeping together in a warm enclosed stable.
An active family who would walk them and interact with them. Athena and Titan just love to follow you around the garden and be with you where ever you are, all without being overly needy.
As much as our foster carer wanted to keep both she believes they would thrive in a loving family home together where they will receive more attention and one on one time.

Medical notes
Titan is a registered bred Pedigree who is in good health. He has been desexed, fully immunised and is on heart worm prevention and has been wormed and flea treated.
There are terrific benefits in having a bonded pair: These besties keep each other company and help ease separation anxiety. They come with a natural support system providing a constant source of physical comfort to one another. They don’t cost that more to feed.
They are content to sleep together, feed together and play with each other all when the family may not be there. They are less inclined to get into mischief and form negative behaviours etc.
You’ve helped saved 2 lives not 1. The best reason is with Athena and Titan you will get double the unconditional love and loyalty.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
