About Walter
Is that a fluffy black cloud? No, it's Walter the One-Eyed Wonder!
About me:
I'm a shy but affectionate boy on the hunt for my forever family. My passions include tuna, sardines, being brushed, and watching birds through the window. I can't resist a chin rub or a butt scratch and am starting to love tummy rubs and playing with my wand toy. My foster mum says I am a very handsome boy with amazing whiskers, the loudest purr and world-class muffin making skills!
I came to Cat Haven after being found homeless with what the vets think is an old injury to my eye. They have checked it out and given me the all clear but as I have reduced vision I'd like my new owner to keep me inside only, just in case!
About you:
You have a calm household full of love. You could be a single person, a happy couple, or a family with older children. Maybe there is a friendly cat friend for me or a gentle, cat-savvy dog. I'm still a little timid but I think I would like to sit with you on the sofa while you watch TV and join you in bed at night-time. I don't like to be kept apart from the family and will chirp for you if you close a door and lie on your hands so you can't escape!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
