Foxy

Foxy is a fluffy 14.5-year-old Maltese X Poodle, who is the sweetest little man. He loves being around people more than being on his own. Would definitely suit someone who is home during the day.

He has been loving his walks and is active in-between his naps. He loves scratches behind the ears and a gentle rub on the back.

He loves children and is very gentle with them. He has been around children aged 5 years to 13 with no issues.

Foxy does not like to be outside on his own although we are trying to get him outside for small amounts of time alone each day. He is happy outside with a dog friend.

Foxy gets along well with older dogs and is very curious about other dogs on our walks.

Foxy knows how to sit for his dinner and treats and is toilet trained although needs a reminder to go outside sometimes. He doesn’t like to get his feet wet.

Foxy does have a heart murmur and is a little tender on his back. The vet has advised us it may be due to several reasons such as cancer, but due to his age we have decided to let him live out his life without further tests.

Foxy is looking for someone to care for him in his final years (potentially paliative care) and you would certainly fall in love with his sweet nature and cuddly personality instantly.
