About Coco
💚💙 Available for Adoption "Coco" 💚💙
Please meet the sweetest girl around "Coco" the four year old Cavoodle who is excited to meet her forever family! Although she was timid when she arrived, Coco has grown much more confident!
This beautiful girl ticks all the boxes!
She is dog, cat and child friendly!
She currently lives with a cat and although is friendly with him, prefers to play with other dogs and people
Coco is a number one lapdog and loves sitting on your lap as much as possible, following you wherever you go! She simply can never get enough cuddles
Although Coco doesn't have a favourite toy, she enjoys playing chase and loves rubbing her face into rugs, rolling around entertaining herself.
Coco is still getting used to travelling in a car and shakes when in one. She will require more practice being taken to lovely fun places.
This girl is very smart and a quick learner, we have taught her to sit and she has (mostly) got it down pat, except on walks when she is super excited. With patient and positive reinforcement, Coco will be a star pupil!
Coco is mostly toilet trained, if there is a doggy door she should be fine but she might still have occasional accidents inside at first. Toilet training with treats is working very well as she is very food motivated.
Walks are super fun for Coco, but she can walk in circles around you, so will require continued training.
If anyone pulls on the leash accidentally she becomes terrified. So walk and obedience training must be gentle, patient and positive.
If Coco is left outside she can become anxious and start barking at the door. She is not a dog that can be left outside for extended periods.
When her foster carers come home, Coco does excited zoomies around the house to welcome them home. She also loves to sunbathe by the window, lapping up the warmth.
Coco does tend to want to jump on people quite often, so will require continued training to assist with this habbit. We would therefore recommend that she is in a home with children 7+ years of age so that they are not afraid or bowled over by Coco.
Coco will require regular grooming, as her fur grows around her eyes and blocks her vision.
