About Tyson
Hi guys!
I'm Tyson and life has thrown me a curve ball, so here I am looking to find myself a new family.
As you can see, I am a young boy, full of life and energy, wanting lots of cuddles and pats together with some training and discipline.
It turns out I was microchipped to the wrong breed and my original humans could not deal with the reality of my size. And no, I am not that big! I'm just a knee high 19 kg boy but I definitely am not a Jack Russell as originally sold as.
So, now that you understand my predicament, lets get real and figure if you have what it takes to see me grow by your side. And no, not in size as I'm done on that part, but as the good dog I want to be with your guidance.
The nice people I've been staying with keep saying I still have ways to go with my manners but they also say I am doing a lot better nowadays than when I arrived. I'm not too sure what they mean by that but, honestly, I can tell they enjoy my company a lot better these days. Truth is, until I came here I never had anyone giving me the time of day to even bother trying to teach me something and I, actually, like to learn.
Up until now I was never around other doggies so I am slowly learning how to meet them. I am not ready to go to dog parks, but I can manage meeting one or two doggies nicely with lots of cues from my handlers.
I will love a family that will not leave me to my own devices and takes a proactive approach to my training. I will, definitely, not do well as a garden ornament that only gets fed and watered.
As I get excited easily, I think I'm better with older small humans but, if the small humans are used to rambunctious pups, then the more I have to love!
I wouldn't mind another similar sized dog in my home if we are compatible and enjoy spending our time together. You will have to talk to my carers about that so we can meet. I will not do well with kitties or pocket pets as I like to chase for fun.
