About Jess
Jess is a loving girl ready to find her retirement home and companion to spend her days following around.
Jess came to us after her elderly owner passed away and other family members were unable to accommodate her due to having their own dogs. She had previously had a litter of pups but has now been desexed and is ready to chill in her new home.
Jess can sit for her meals and on command, she walks well on lead and is very clean in her toileting habits and we think she would have been house trained, but has not been in the house since coming into care with us. She travels well in a dog crate on the back of the ute and also in the car.
Jess is a very dominant girl and likes to be the boss and will take on any challenge thrown her way by another dominant dog, but is still able to interact well with submissive dogs. So we are looking for her perfect home where she is preferably the only dog and will not have to compete for affection with other dogs.
We think Jess has done some herding in her earlier years as she can get quite excited when she see’s stock, so an urban or small acreage home with a secure yard is where she will fit in best.
Jess is a quiet dog but will alert you if something strange is happening or someone is about.
