About Sophie
💓 Adopt Me 💓
Sophie is a little pocket rocket. She's a super sweet medium staffy mix who is full of beans. Sophie hasn't known much of life outside of the pound, but she has settled into care very quickly and is learning how to be part of a household.
She loves playing with other dogs but needs playmates who are okay with her being bit over the top and will gently teach her where the appropriate boundaries are. She currently lives with two large male dogs who are very tolerant. She zooms around the yard with the other dogs, plays tug, chews sticks, and finds little hiding spots to nap in.
Sophie is learning to settle inside the house too. Once she settles she's happy to lie on the floor next to you while you watch Tv. She is mostly toilet trained, but as a puppy she still needs to be let outside often. She sleeps in a crate inside overnight.
While she has not yet had all her vaccinations to go on walks, she walks very nicely on leash at home as part of her training. Sophie is very trainable, and responding well to beginner basic obedience with her regular kibble.
Sophie is untested with children and cats. She is still a little mouthy and jumpy, but improving each week.
Sophie is quite small and very inquisitive.

ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 24HOURS TO 7DAYS DEPENDING ON INFORMATION GIVEN, APPLICATIONS IN PROCESS, MEET & GREETS ETC.
All canines are to be met in person, with interstate adoptions an exception.
We arrange a meet and greet with your family and any other pets you may have. You will need to complete an adoption application, we will also complete a yard check to make sure your yard is secure, fully fenced with shade and shelter suitable for your new canine.
* Having a meet and greet does not automatically approve you for the adoption *
Upon approval your adoption fee will need be paid before collecting your new family member. You will go on a 14day trial period. If at anytime in that 14 days you find you can not keep your canine, they shall be returned (be patient as it may take some timeand you will receive a refund of your adoption fee minus $50 - Admin Fee.
If after the 14 day trial period you have decided to continue with the adoption of your canine and we will Post in the Mail your adoption details and these include...
- Desexing Paperwork
- Microchip number
- Vaccination details - All vaccines will be up to date.
- Receipt of payment
- Worming, Heart Worm and Flea treatment dates.
Your change of ownership form will be covered in the adoption fee and sent through to the company but this can take 3/4 weeks to process.
