About Pepper
Desexed, treated with Revolution and full balanced raw diet
Pepper is quite calm, often just wandering about till she gets tired and then looks for a nice soft spot to sleep, not always in blankets. Most times she will not defend herself against other ferrets and for this reason a calmer ferret is preferable, she can be quite picky though and any adopter needs to be ready for this.
Pepper has been adopted out previously but sadly lost her partner and was luckily sent back into care to recover, I haven't as yet found her a suitable partner here in care. Her and another girl called LuLu do not get along as LuLu is just too dominant, Pepper may be suitable as a single and has shown to like a specific type of female owner, male owners shes good with too but not as interested.
The rescue is located about 10 min from Erina Fair at Springfield nsw 2250. Ferrets are not a cheep pet and not all vets are experienced with ferrets.
Any adopted out are to come back into care if the adopter is no longer able to have them and foster with view to adopt is also a option.
Bathing too much can affect thier coat chemestry and incorrect diet can affect thier internal chemistry, both of which can cause a ferret to smell more.

Adoption details
Meet and greet with any adoptables you are interested in is strongly advised, before making a decision on who will become a part of your family.
There is a adoption form to fill out once a decision is finalized and any adopted out are to come back into care if they no longer have a place with the adopter, this is to ensure they have a familiar place to settle back down.
There is a trial period of 2 months for all in care, during this time if the pet is not settling in well or another problem occours then a new companion can be trialled or adoption fee refunded depending on the health of the pet. Outside of the 2 month trial period advice, help and food (at cost), will still be provided.
Please do not ask for a intact rescue as refusal often offends and it's in the best interest of the companion pet they have this done first, exceptions will only be made for those well known by me.
