About Jasper
Jasper is in care at Kempsey (Mid North Coast of NSW) and is a quiet gentleman who is looking for his final loving home.
From what we have been able to ascertain his original owner was unable to keep him and due to necessity he was left in a boarding kennel for many months.
Why we are unsure but having had gentle Jasper in a foster home we can see he is searching for a family who will commit to providing him with a home.
Jasper knows his basic commands and is voice responsive, he is way past the digging chewing phase and is at that stage in life he just wants to enjoy the company of his humans.
Jasper is also crate trained and would benefit from having inclusion in the family home as can be trusted as he is fully house trained. Jasper does react to thunderstorms and fireworks but if allowed to come inside, settles well.
So are you searching for a gentle dog, who knows his basic commands, is happy to sit beside you whilst you read or watch television then Jasper is for you.
Jasper enjoys his walks, is always smiling and is very gentle and respectful around children. Not a barker, easy to manage on lead and just a no fuss German Shepherd.
We have found that Jasper is best suited as the only dog in the home only because he so wants the attention of his family.

Medical notes
Jasper is desexed, has been fully immunised and has been flea and wormed treated.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
