About Jackson & Larry
MEET JACKSON & LARRY!
Jackson and Larry are 2 handsome brothers that were born wild and trapped, rehabilitated and fully vet worked. They are approximately 2 years old & ready for their forever home, we would love to find these 2 a home together however they can be separated to the right homes.
Jackson - Domestic Medium Haired Grey Tabby & White
Jackson is the real smoocher of the pair! He adores his humans and loves belly rubs, as Jackson was born wild, he does need a home with a patient, understanding, safe and loving owner that will give him and his brother all the time they need to come out of their shell. Jackson will be a real clinger and want to cuddle up to you on your lap once he has gotten to know and trust you! Jackson gets along fine with other cats and would like to go to a home with another friendly, loving cat he can bond with if he cant go with his brother.
Larry - Domestic Short Haired Grey Tabby & White
Larry is the quieter more timid of the pair, he relies on his brother Jackson to show him the ropes and help him feel comfortable and safe so if he was to go on his own, he would need to go to a very understanding and patient home. Larry is a smoocher however and does give his foster mum lots of love and affection, so you will be rewarded! Larry gets along fine with other cats and would like to go to a home with another friendly, loving cat he can bond with if he cant go with his brother.
They will both absolutely settle down in their new home and blossom into the beautiful loving cats we know they are.
These boys have had a tough start to life living wild and not knowing when their next meal is or if they'll be safe, so the next home they have must be their last, their forever home! If you give Jackson or Larry (or both!) a chance you will be rewarded with unconditional love and companionship, they'll be your besties for life!
* Jackson and Larry are INDOOR ONLY cats for life, please only apply for them if this is suitable for your home
* When applying for one of the boys or both, please tell us all about yourself/your home and why you think they would be the purrrfect fit for you, we pride ourselves on making the right match the first time.
* As they were born wild, the boys would prefer not to live with little kids or loud environments, at least not for now. They have not been tested with dogs but due to their history they would likely be quite scared to begin with and would need to go to a home without dogs or with a cat friendly and placid dog.
Medical notes
Jackson and Larry are both desexed, microchipped, vaccinated x2 and flea and worm treated. Their new owner does not need to do any vet work aside from their annual vaccine and any check ups they may need along the way.
The boys must be fed a high quality adult dry diet such as royal canin, hills science diet, blackhawk, leaps & bounds or advance. A wet food supplement for dinner is okay too

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
