About Alfie and Penny
Hi everyone, we are Alfie and Penny, we will be 3 years old in May this year, we are super sweet, super affectionate, super lovable, typical dachshunds. We will be a little unsure of strangers at first but after a few minutes we will be your best friend.
We will need someone dedicated to continue our training and give us structure and routine so we can work on our manners, someone who understands our breed and know that sometimes when we feel scared we may bark.
We are a bonded pair that would like someone home often, and someone to keep on top of our weight loss journey.
We love our little walks, and love company. If introduced properly we are okay with dogs and cats, we have spent most of a time in foster care with other animals, but can sometimes bark when unsure or upon first meets. We are probably best to be the only pets.
About us:
Alfie is the leader, the protector, he loves playing with soft toys and going for walks,
Penny is full of kisses and cuddles,
Both dogs just want a forever family who understands them, gives them lots of attention and help with their health and training. Due to our previous diet we also need someone to continue with our dental care, we are getting used to our teeth being cleaned daily. We are also toilet trained,
Their favourite thing is to snuggle on the couch with you.
Alfie was born 9.5.19
Penny 16.5.19
Both dogs have been around young children
Please note due to popularity we will be unable to contact everyone, please send us a little bio about your family and if you are willing to put the work in to be the the forever family, we will contact the family we think suits the dogs
Medical notes
Overweight
Both need to lose 4-8kg each
Need teeth cleaned daily
