About RED
Red is looking for his forever family and at just 6 months of age he has a lot to learn and everything is new to him. He can already sit for his meals and on command, most of the time, comes to his name and is working on drop. He has just finished his vet work and has started on lead training.
Red is friendly and likes to be around people, following you round to see what you are up to and if he can help in any way. He’s good with kids but can be a bit jumpy so older kids are best for him and would need training in this area.
He travels well in a dog crate on the ute and likes going new places and is interested in everything. Gets on well with other dogs and loves to play, but can get in their faces as most puppies do.
He needs a home with NO chickens etc, or someone who is willing to spend the time teaching him they are not feathered things to chase. He’s fine with non reactive cats but still very curious.
He has spent time in the house and has been good so far but would need extra house training to be confident over nights.
Red would most likely need a run in the mornings and at night, and then have some toys and bones to keep him occupied through the day. He would be fine with out constant company, but would need mental stimulation if left alone.
Reds new home will need a family that can involve him in everyday life and spend the time training him to be a well adjusted part of society.
