About Tiki
Tiki is a loving soul! She is so excited to see every person and we haven't found anyone she doesn't like yet! She is certain to meet you with the enthusiasm in which she faces everything in life.
Tiki has previously lived with kids and has been fine with them, though can sometimes knock them over with her silliness.
Tiki loves to lean into you and get pats. Her eyes go all zen and she'll smooch up to you forever. However, as soon as your hands are off, Tiki is too! She zooms, plays with toys, and is generally a busy playful girl whenever she is not having a cuddle!
Tiki may be suitable to a home with a large male dog, but she is so boisterous and silly with dogs that I'm not sure anyone wants to live with her! As Tiki has previously got into fights with female dogs, we are not prepared to place her in a home with another female dog. We would prefer she goes to a home as an only dog.
Tiki is toilet trained and is used to spending most of her time inside (prior to her surrender in 2021). That being said, she doesn't have the best manners and probably won't suit a home where dogs don't belong on the table...
Tiki has been exposed to lots of creatures and universally thinks they're chew toys. She is not suitable to a home with other pets except for a male dog.
Tiki came into care with bald spots on her skin. She has been vet checked, though we are not really sure what has caused them. She will be going to her new home with Advocate treatments to eradicate fleas and mites as a possible cause (she has already been treated with Advocate by us). Tiki's skin has never looked irritated, despite the balding, so it's also possible that it's 'just the way she is', considering she has a thin dilute coat.
Tiki's adoption fee is $200 and she comes with a 2 week trial period. If you're interested, please contact Tegan on 0421 506 482 between 8am and 8pm. Tiki is located in Hamley Bridge SA and interstate adoption will be considered.
