Hi there, do you love shaggy, loveable dogs? Then you'll love me!

My name is Candy Cane and not much is known about me as I was found wandering in rural NSW and then impounded.

I think I'm a 12 month old female staghound and the size of a Kelpie. I'm not microchipped and no one has claimed me, so we have no other info sorry.

I am terrified of everything! It is clear I have been beaten in my short life.
I cower when around other dogs in the pound and expect to be hit by people sadly.

I do follow the nice rangers around, so I am wanting to trust them.

I am looking for a family without young kids, who will give me space and understand that I will need time and reasurance to come out of my shell.

If you have a friendly desexed and vaccinated dog, they should be relaxed and give me space like everyone in the house. Time, quiet and love is what I need until I am ready.
