About Nugget
๐ผ๐ผ NUGGET ๐ผ๐ผ
Introducing little Nugget ๐
Donโt be fooled by her name she is a pocket rocket! (Not kidding, this energetic girl is teeny tiny cute ๐) Nug is a puppy mixed breed, we arenโt 100% sure of her breed but see kelpie and staffy come out in her more and more everyday. In fact it looks like her ears are about to pop and stand up! She will grow to be a medium sized dog.
Nugget is quite a crazy puppy, she just wants to play and play and play! ๐ She enjoys playing with other dogs and has learnt to respect their boundaries ๐ฅฐ She has also learnt that humans don't appreciate a game of bitey hands, so she is happy to play with toys and receive lots of pats instead. She will do best in a home with another socially mature, well adjusted adult dog or with a family willing to put in proper training and environmental socialisation to continue to build her confidence. ๐ Nugget is good with the cat, but likely would chase a scared cat. A "dog savvy" cat will teach her alot ๐คฃ
Sheโs inquisitive and likes to explore but prefers not to do it on her own. She would love a family willing to include her in most things, have a decent yard for her to run around in (she looooves to run) and who will enrich her life by exploring the wonders of the world ๐พ As well as activities, Nugget very much enjoys her enrichment toys which include balls filled with air dried treats, such as Ziwi Peak and puzzle toys from Zippypaws.
She has begun crate training and is doing really well! ๐ She knows to go into her crate and sit down waiting for her 3 meals per day. She sleeps soundly through the night ๐ด and is kept safe in her crate so she canโt get into anything she shouldnโt. If left with a toy she will entertain herself until the humans wake up in the morning ๐
Nugget is learning to go toilet out on the grass, but still having some accidents inside. She knows how to sit and is working on lay down and wait. She will require adopters who are ready to get stuck into puppy training! She is food motivated and loves squeaky toys ๐ฅฐ
Currently Nugget is on a diet of Prime100 and Big Dog BARF patties. She is transitioning to 100% BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) and absolutely loving it. She is thriving on this diet and will need to be continued by her furever family ๐
She may be small but she is a sassy little girl who is ready to take over the world & on the lookout for a family who can support her and make her thrive ๐
