About Swirl
🍭 SWIRL 🍭
Introducing the sweet and silly Swirl who is ready to find her furever home 💕
Swirly girl as she is lovingly called is the princess of our house, and she knows it! She is ALWAYS first for snuggles in the morning and she lets us know if she needs more by flashing her puppy eyes at you and sulking quietly 😘 She LOVES a butt rub or belly pats! In fact she approaches you butt first if she wants pats 😅
After cuddles she is the happiest of doggos and she has the best smile! 😃 She also has the largest, floppiest ears that always end up inside out so be ready to add “professional ear flipper” to your resume as it’s a full time job 😂
She plays well with other dogs but can sometimes forget her size and bowl them over. She also plays well independently. Her favourite past time is to quietly steal whatever toy her foster brothers are fighting over and play with it herself. She isn’t really interested in fetch but will run after the other dogs. Her favourite toy at the moment is a little rubber ducky, she will roll around on the floor throwing it in the air and catching and chewing it.
Swirl is fully toilet trained and is using the command “toilet”. She walks great on the lead as long as you are happy to go slow and let her smell and explore 🐕🦺 She is still learning how amazing and fun our world can be 🌏
Swirl is crate trained and sleeps 8pm to 7am but would 100% love a family who lets her sleep on the couch or your bed 😴 She also takes all her meals in her crate and will wait patiently while you prepare them, sit and shake her paw in exchange for her bowl 🤩 But don’t be fooled by her meal time manners… this girl is an expert level food thief and oh so very helpful in cleaning up food! 😅 She loves to help you with the dishes in the sink so I wouldn’t leave her unsupervised in the kitchen 🤦🏻♀️
You don’t usually hear a peep out of this girl, but when you do, it’s surprising! She has the deepest bark- you may mistake her for a grumpy old man 🥸 not the pretty princess we know her as 👸🏽😂 If she isn’t using her voice to tell you what she wants, she uses her pout and puppy eyes to guilt you into submission 🤩
Our beautiful swirl girl does suffer from car sickness so will need a family that lives close by or is happy to make stops during longer car rides.
