About Miguel
β€β€ MIGUEL β€β€
Introducing the super loyal and very cute Miguel π who is looking for his furever family.
Miguel is quite the cutie, he has an obsession with food and people π€£ He will do anything for a treat. He becomes so fixated on that treat, he gets this super serious face on π as you can see in most of the photos π€£ This little boy just wants to be around you, and wants to please you. He is proving to be a fiercely loyal boy, who loves his human family especially the small ones π
He is quite the adventurous little guy, he loves to go exploring. Sniffer walks are his favourite! Being on a long lead and using his nose to smell all the awesome things π but that hthat doesn't last long when he smells that treat in your pocket, he will be right by your side π€£
Miguel is a clever boy, he knows sit, wait, back, shake, and down (though still perfecting this one). He walks fairly well on lead, still learning that it's not a scary thing sometimes, but most of the time he walks by your side π He is fully crate trained, he looooves his crate and would love to continue it with his furever family. He gets all the awesome things in there, dinner, breakfast, lickimats, kongs, bones... so much good happens in there! And he sleeps in there all night without a sound and no toileting accidents π
This gorgeous boy loves other dogs, big and small. He is besties with Bailey, they look like brothers! They're so cute together, maybe a family might like to adopt both? ππ₯°
He is even good with the cat π though would definitely chase a scared cat, dog-savvy cats are much better for him to be around. Miguel is quite the hunter, he definitely has some sort of terrier or sight hound (like a whippet) in him... he has caught some rats π that have come out from the drain next to his foster home. And sadly a possum too. So if you have lots of these sorts of wildlife around that you want to keep around, Miguel is not the dog for you.
With his drive, Miguel would thrive doing lure coursing. Maybe his furever family are interested in getting into that with him, it's alot of fun π Miguel is a playful guy, still learning what fetch is π€£ but he loves to play tug of war with the dogs and loves to chew on sticks!
Miguel is a fairly lazy boy for most of the day, however if understimulated mentally or physically, like any puppy he will get into things he shouldn't π€£ so a generally active lifestyle is needed to keep this boy at his best π
He would love to be apart of the family, he just wants love. He will happily sit in your lap or by your side all day long if you let him π₯° Miguel has never been on his own, so we are unsure if he will do well as an only dog with fulltime workers, he may do well with a family who are home most of the time though π but he really would love another dog to live with too.
