About Freya
πΈπΈ FREYA πΈπΈ
Introducing the sweetest girl, Freya, who is ready to find her furever π₯°
This sweet girl is only a puppy and still has more growing and learning to do π She is calm and cuddly, with a few zooms and craziness in between. She is the perfect balance of crazy and calm for any family.
Although her nerves can get the better of her sometimes, she is very curious of the world and will benefit from more exposure to sites, sounds and people π Freya is particularly timid of children and would suit a family with children 6yo+. Sheβs more of a dogβs dog and you can see her open up more when sheβs with another dog πΆ She is submissive and generally takes well to cues from other dogs too π Her connection with people develops over time and you will see her become more affectionate and seeking of pats as she gains trust with you.
Freya walks well on lead and by your side, as long as you have treats to keep her attention she will not pull π She knows how to sit and lay on command and is actively working on her patience and manners. As a puppy, it is important to set your boundaries so she can learn what is acceptable and not acceptable in your home π She has shown to listen well and follow corrections.
Freya is fed a raw diet which includes Big Dog Pet Foods BARF patties, fruits and vegetables, yoghurt and kefir, coconut and fish oil, and a range of raw bones. Freya is currently on a joint supplement, being a large breed dog she can be prone to arthritis with age or weight gain, starting her on these supplements early and keeping her lean may assist in preventing or managing arthritis in future.
Snuffle mats, licki mats, kongs, scatter feeds - you name it! She LOVES it! π₯° Freya lives for her treats and enjoys spending time working for them. Enrichment and treat toys keeps her occupied and happy, this is a must for her forever family. Fun for Freya means play dates with other dogs. She is great at meeting new dogs and learning how they like to play π
Freya is guaranteed to capture your heart, whether its her puppy dog eyes that get you or her gigantic tongue which always seems to find a way out of her mouth π€£ Freya is a beautiful, sweet pup who is looking forward to new experiences and a pawfect forever family π
