Introducing our Stormy boy who is ready to find his furever home.
Stormy is the smoochiest boy 😘 He is always the first one to come for pats and cuddles in the morning and is happiest when he is snuggling on the couch with his humans.
He is great with kids of any age (has previously lived with a 2 and 4 year old) as the more people in the family, the more pats he gets. However he is a giant puppy and sometimes forgets his size 😅 especially when he gets zoomies! Boy oh boy can this boy run! He is still finding his long lanky feet so sometimes has some trouble stopping, but it’s very fun to watch! Especially with his ears flapping in the wind when he runs 😍 He loves to play with any toy but is currently favouring a red rubber ducky 🦆
Stormy has started his crate training and is doing well but I’m sure he would LOVE a family who will let him sleep in their room! 😴 He knows his basic commands such as sit and lay down and is working on some safety commands such as ‘wait’, ‘gentle’ and ‘stay’. He is a very smart boy and loves to train but can get very excited when the treatos come out, so watch your fingers! 😋
Although Stormy loves his humans, he has shown no signs of separation anxiety! Just leave him something to do and play with and he will happily wait for you to get home 💙 This boy very rarely barks and is great with other dogs- there is not a mean bone in this boys body 🥰 He is working on his lead walking and doing a good job, but he will need a family who is patient and willing to show Stormy just how fun and exciting his world can be 🌏

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if application is approved.
2a. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
2b. If meeting a cat we do NOT recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal will NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork/records is sent via email if not given in a kitten/puppy pack.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly/fortnightly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives and vaccinations current after adoption.
6a. Adopted Puppies under 6 months of age and Kittens under 1kg will be desexed by our affiliated Vet, the Adopter will be responsible for transport to and from this appointment.
