About Buddy DL2714
Buddy makes a fantastic house dog! He is a joy to have in the home. He especially enjoys snoozing on the couch.
A clever boy, Buddy is a quick learner, so you’ll have fun teaching him new tricks. He’s already mastered sit and paw shake. He loves swimming and going for walks. He adores getting new toys and will go right to work de-fluffing them, or relocating them to the garden.
Buddy will need to be the king of the castle at home, your only dog. On walks, he is learning to take treats to help him ignore other dogs in the distance. He hasn’t been tested with kids and isn't keen on cats. You’ll need a nice secure yard to keep him safe and have room to play.
Buddy’s foster carer has gotten his training off to a great start, so we’ll be thrilled to find him someone who’ll keep it up! If you’d love to meet Buddy, contact DFL today to apply.
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.
