About Bailey
Bailey truley is the sweetest boy, he wants to be friends with everyone. Big, small, furry, human... he loves them all! π He is incredibly affectionate to people and dogs alike! He has played big brother to a puppy allowing puppy to snuggle with him π₯° Bailey loves to play, fetch is his favourite game, but he sometimes forgets to bring the ball back ππ
This sweet boy loves to run and stretch out those long legs! He will need lots of space to run in, small backyards won't be suitable. As much as he loves to run, he is also a lazy doggo who prefers to sunbake in the sun or laze about near his humans and the other dogs π Bailey has the best temperament, he hasn't got a mean bone in his body but his bark is enough to deter any intruders π He has a really unique coat, his foster mum affectionately calls the wirey fur along his back his toupee :P It often gets pushed into a mohawk by anyone who is patting him π€£
Bailey is quite the goof, have you ever heard of the "dally smile"? π Well Bailey didn't get the memo that it's just for dalmations :P He gives big smiles to his humans to show his love π Although Bailey is quite tall and big dogs are notorious for not knowing their size, he actually does π₯° He is super gentle with kids of all sizes, including little bubbas πΆ But being young he still has his excitable moments, though these only last a couple minutes when first meeting someone then he calms right down to his placid and gentle self π
This boy is very respectful to other dogs once he learns their boundaries. Bailey is good with all females and small males.. he is NOT good with medium or large males unfortunately. Dominant dogs do not upset him, he is happy to adjust his play style or behaviour to make the other dog more comfortable πWhen he plays he is vocal, chatting to the other dogs to encourage them to play. But when play is over, Bailey only barks to let you know if someone is lurking nearby, though he is learning that he only needs to warning bark for 30 seconds and when given the "ok" he is to stop π
He has met some kitties whilst with us, and unfortunately has a grown a dislike for them π€£ he would need a home without any kitties.
Bailey is currently on a balanced raw diet and thriving on it, his coat (the smooth part) is so soft. He will benefit continuing the diet π Bailey is a naturally lean dog but does struggle to keep weight on, he eats a good amount of food so his family must be prepared for his food bill ;) Other then that he is in great health π
Bailey would love a furever home who will make him apart of the family, he would love to go on adventures to explore this beautiful world! π He currently loves going on his weekly trail walks with his foster family who pick a new track each time that goes for up to 4km. He is yet to explore the beach, but we have a feeling he will love it π Bailey walks fairly well on lead once he has calmed down which takes a couple of minutes, he knows all of his basic commands too. He is crate trained, and will need to continue this with his new family as this is now his safe place when he is feeling anxious. He will need a home with another confident dog as he would not do well being left alone unfortunately.
If you're looking for a sweet and goofy boy for your family, who will love everyone equally and make you smile everyday. Then look no further, Bailey is who you are looking for.

Adoption details
.00ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.

5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
