Introducing the very cute, sweet little energizer bunny, Māia 🥰 who is ready to find her furever home!
Maia is such a super sweet little girl😍She's only tiny at 15kg, but don't be fooled!! She's an energizer bunny! 🤣 She loves playing with her toys and her foster sisters; who are small and medium size dogs and two kitties 😃😀
This sweet girl loves to snuggle and loves to hang out and chill on the lounge with you 💕 Her personality is just so special, she is a good all rounder! The moment you meet her she will make your heart melt 💖 we promise!
The vet thinks that Māia is a kelpie X jack Russell and is around 2 years of age give or take 😉 so she still has lots of years to have fun exploring this wonderful world with her family 💙
Māia is crate trained but would love to keep you warm in your bed if allowed 😁 She is also toilet trained. When Maia first came into Rescue, she was really stinky and shedding fur badly! She was put on a good balanced raw food diet and now her coat is shining, soft and she is barely shedding anymore 😍 We recommend continuing Māia on the raw food diet (following the BARF model) as she is thriving on it.
Māia knows how to sit and is learning to walk on a lead too 😊 She will need someone who will continue her training to help her be the best possible doggo we know she can be. She loves her food so training is an easy task for her 💗
This little girl is fine with kids, cats and dogs! A perfect little addition to the family!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
