About Rugby
Rugby is a fun, friendly, and affectionate girl who is looking for her perfect new family! She very much wants to please and be on your 'good side'.
Rugby was surrendered due to owner ill health.
So far Rugby has been super happy and excited to meet every person - and we're sure she would love you on first sight too! Her favourite way to say hello is to throw herself up for a great big hug. Her favourite position is paws-up smooches. Because of her enthuiastic cuddle-style we recommend her for homes with children probably 6 years or older.
Rugby has been friendly with the dogs she has met in care. She would love to have a doggy friend where she can play rough games with (though she can be a little cautious when making new friends - once they're safe, hard games are in!). That being said, Rugby is kenneled solo at Leema Rescue and has been quite okay with her own company.
Before coming into care, Rugby has been an 'outside dog'. She would love to be inside with people, but is used to having all her time outdoors too.
Rugby is a nice-natured dog who is fully vetworked and ready to go to her new home.
Rugby's adoption fee is $200 and she comes with a two week trial. She is located in Hamley Bridge, SA. If you would like to enquire about Rugby, please call Tegan on 0421 506 482 between 8am and 8pm. Please note that there is not 'application form' or formal application process. Your interest in Rugby is noted by calling Tegan. Text messages, messages to the page, and emails are not prioritised.
Consideration will be given to interstate enquiries.
