About Kai
🥰🥰 KAI 🥰🥰
Introducing the sweet boy, Kai ❤ who is ready to find his furever home!
Kai is super snuggly, he loves all humans big and small 😍 He is very smart and learns quick! A true Kelpie 💕 Kai gets along well with other dogs and doesn't appear to be bothered by cats (he has only seen them through doors though).
This boy needs a little help with some confidence boosting in new environments but he does settle quickly 😊 Kai isn't a huge fan of getting in the car yet. Once in the car he rides very quiet and politely though 💙
Kai knows how to sit and stay. We are working on his crate training. He is also house / doggy door trained 😊 Though as he is a puppy, he still sometimes does little excited wees. This will be something he grows out of as his confidence and maturity develops.
Kai would make the perfect family dog but will do best with another dog to play with / for companionship when humans aren't around. Kai doesnt like being alone. He will need secure fencing as he is very clever 🤓 He will also need a big yard/property and will thrive with an active family who will include him in all the adventures 😊
Kai is currently eating a balanced raw diet including VAN, big dog BARF and prime 100. Kai will eat anything he is given, his favourite snack is carrots 🥕 He has a beautiful shiney coat because of this diet and will benefit staying on this diet.
This beautiful people pleaser, just wants a loving home who will include him in everything 💖 Kai wouldn't suit just being "thrown in the backyard", he would prefer to be with his family, training (he is a keen student) and playing with them!
If you would like to meet Kai, please message for an application 💝
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
