About Gypsy
🌸🌸 GYPSY 🌸🌸
Introducing the gorgeous gentle giant, Gypsy 💜 who is ready to find her furever home!
Gypsy is a beautiful gentle soul, she shows no signs of being aggressive, however she has a big deep bark making her a great for deterring unwanted visitors 😊
She is a young and playful girl who is extremely affectionate 😍 Gypsy loves to give kisses and will let you know she wants more pats by grabbing your hand with her paw and pulling it close 🥰 Like any typical Dane, she doesn’t realise her size and thinks she is a tiny lap dog and thus making her a bit of a bed hog 🤣
Although she was abit wary of the kids when she first arrived, she has certainly warmed up to them and will take any chance she can get to snuggle them in bed or cuddle up on the couch 💕
Gypsy looooves balls, and is great with fetch she brings the ball back every time and gently puts it in your hand 💞 She is such a good girl!
Even coming to us so skinny she has always been so gentle with her eating but food is the way to her heart, works perfect for getting her to learn new tricks and inside manners 😁 And helps her warm up to strangers, as Gypsy is nervous around new people, especially males, so treats when walking help distract her from other people/dogs 🐾 However she is perfect with other dogs, big and small, she actually looks to them for confidence and guidance.
Gypsy must be homed with another dog for this reason 🐶 She is currently an only dog with just visiting dogs, when the other dogs visit her she is a completely different dog. She is confident and wants to meet everyone 😍 She is very timid until she knows you won’t hurt her, treats and taking her for a walk work really well for gaining her trust 💜
This beautiful girl would suit a calm and loving home with another dog friend for company 🥰 A family who are willing to continue working on her confidence and showing her what a wonderful world she lives in 🌼
If you would like to meet Gypsy, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Timid girl, will benefit from going on Zylkene
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
