About Lolly
🌼🌼 LOLLY 🌼🌼
Introducing the sweetest girl, Lolly 😍 Who is ready to find her furever home!
Lolly is a gentle ol’ soul. Her favourite things in life are sleeping and pats! 🥰
When Lolly first arrived she wasn’t too sure of herself or what was expected of her but has since become more confident. Lolly now comes when she is called (most times), she runs after the kids if they are running, she greets us with a weird happy dance when we get home, she barks at strangers at the door and even chases a ball if she is in the mood 😁
Lolly stays away from too much noise and action by going to her bed which is in a quieter place, she would love to have her own quiet place to retreat to in her furever home. But make no mistake this girl likes a busy home too 😊😊 She likes all people including children, she is also good with the cats and other dogs (even big ones) but they're not allowed in her personal space if she is sleeping 😴 Lolly won't do well with a young boisterous dog that doesn't respect her boundaries.
She is toilet trained but her foster family do take her outside when she wakes, or before bed, etc.. Lolly is great on the lead, unfortunately her agility is not good so she can only manage a short walk for now. She is also unable to jump on the couch or take a flight of stairs. This is due to muscle wastage in her hind legs, she needs time to build the muscle back up again. Lolly will benefit from a family willing to continue to work with her by exercising her to build up that muscle 💖 Lolly loves her food, so that is a great motivator!
Lolly will make a great companion for someone wanting a calm and loyal friend!
If you would like to meet Lolly, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
- muscle wastage in hind legs, needs to go for regular exercise to build muscle back up
- had teeth removed due to rotting, doesn't effect eating habits
- on a balanced raw diet, and joint supplements, will benefit from continuing this
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
