About Reya
Meet the sweet and very special Reya 😍
Reya is looking for a very special home to call her own 💖 Reya was found in the pound all alone at 7 weeks old, we have no idea how she ended up there 😭 Because of this she has been a little apprehensive about being around humans.
Reya is super sweet and extremely playful. She absolutely adores her older foster brother, who we affectionately call Uncle Slippers 🐱 Reya is slowly learning that humans aren’t something to be afraid of. She has come so far and will now seek out affection and willingly comes to you for pats 😍 She doesn’t mind being held for short times, but I’m sure she will grow to love longer cuddles. She has recently started coming onto the lounge with her carer for late night snuggles as well 💖
Reya loves her toys. You can quite often find her inside her toy box pulling out the toys she wants to play with. Her favourites are balls that she can chase around the house ⚽️ Reya will also happily play with her toys with her foster humans as long as they sit quietly with her. She also loves to climb to the very top of her cat tower so she can look down on everyone.
Because of Reya’s sad start to her life, we are looking for that very special person or family for her to call her own 💖 Someone who is willing to put the time and effort in to making Reya feel comfortable and helping her live her best life. She is currently in a very loud, very busy household and we feel that she would really blossom living in a quieter home, with either older teenage children, or no children and she would even love to have another cat sibling 🐱
If you would like to meet Reya please message for an application 💝
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
