About Pixie
Gurrsonality traits
Hello my name is Pixie! I'm a little cat with lots of energy and smarts. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of those huge scary human beings. I prefer to watch them from far away and deep beneath the furniture. This is especially true when I first meet them. If they get too pushy I growl, hiss and swipe to get them to leave me alone. My future forever family will have to be one experienced with scaredy cats like myself. It would also be best if there weren't any tiny humans and will need to be an indoor only cat, as I'd be impossible to catch outside.
If given plenty of time and space you will get to see me become the smart little troublemaker I am in my foster home. My foster mum thinks that with a little bit of effort I can probably be taught to do tricks! Especially since I love my food. Despite being carefully fed I have an "adorable" potbelly - according to my foster mum. Right now I'm not really a lap cat, although I do adore a good pet. In fact, I adore it so much I become overstimulated and get a little bit nibbly and grabby. My family will need to know when to tell me "no". I do love playing and will do well with the family who likes an energetic and smart cat. I'm definitely one to keep you entertained!
Currently I live in a foster house with a feline foster auntie and brother. While I did a lot of hissing and growling when I first met them, after a few months I enjoyed being in the same room as them. They make me feel more confident. I'm very clean and my short coat doesn't lose much fur.
Come meet me online in my foster home where my foster mum can tell you all the good and the bad about me.
Hiss for now,
Pixie
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
