About Zorrin
Hi, my name is Bugsy. I had a tricky start to life. My brother and I had to look out for ourselves in the bush from a very young age and we ate bugs and crickets to survive. That's why our foster mum called us Cricket and Bugsy.
When I first came to my foster mum's house, I didn't eat anything and she had to syringe feed me. She was really worried because I was losing weight, but then I discovered roast chicken and I haven't looked back.
My brother played with toys, but I would just sit and watch. I didn't understand what to do. I have grown to love toys and I play with them all day. I have lots of energy. Sometimes I put them in my food and water bowls, so make sure I've got a spare water so I don't get thirsty. I always use my litter tray, but sometimes I bury toys and other things in there so check it before throwing it out. I love to watch birds out the window, but make sure I stay inside as I know I could catch one.
I'm a bit scared of dogs and children, but with a slow introduction, I could live with another cat. If you go to work, I will be fine because I'm pretty independent, just make sure I've got my toys and a radio on for company.
I didn't want to be patted or cuddle for a few weeks, so if I take a little while to settle in, be patient with me because now I love cuddles. I purr so loud and rub on my foster mum. She says I'm a little bit 'quirky' so I'm looking for an owner who will be a bit quirky with me.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
