Moxie ~ 9 week old kitten (on trial 13/4/21)

This girl knows what she wants and is not afraid to let you know. Moxie (named after the women’s liberation film of the same name) lived up to her name within 2 days of living in her foster home with three dogs and 4 children.

Moxie is currently in foster care with her brother, Paxton, who she just adores. We would love for them to be adopted together, but if not they will need a home with an existing cat for company or someone who is home a lot.

Full of love, fun, and attitude, this gorgeous Calico furball loves to initiate rumbles with her brother and lead explorations around the house. Her coat is unusual and beautiful, just like her personality.

Moxie is a very well adjusted girl and is totally comfortable around the dogs and kids in the house now so she is pretty much bomb proof! She is very vocal when she runs to greet you (letting off gorgeous little squeaks each step she takes). She thanks you with meows when you cuddle her and also meows to let you know when she is looking for a human or brother as she is not a fan of being left alone yet. Moxie has become accustomed to the children and dogs in the house and will comfortably remove herself from a cuddle or situation if she is over it.

She would suit a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time as she seems like she is most comfortable when around her brother or a human. She definitely needs another cat for company so will need to either be adopted with her brother or to a home with an existing friendly cat for company. Her toilet manners are perfect and when in the mood she will amuse all around her with dive-bombing her brother or her passion for playing with string or a cat toy.

If adopted together Paxton and Moxie’s adoption fee is $400, if adopted separately it will be $250 each. This covers their flea and worming treatment whilst in care, microchipping, first vaccination and desexing.

PLEASE NOTE: Paxton & Moxie are only available to homes in the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast area as they need be desexed at one of our local vets by the time they are 4 months old.
