About Paxton ~ 9 week old kitten (on trial 24/4/21)
Meet Paxton, a black and white little angel. 'Pax' means peace in Latin and this sensitive little soul lives up to his name.
Paxton has been living with three dogs and 4 children in foster care and although he prefers the quiet, he has quickly become accustomed to them all being around. He is extremely resilient and has become totally comfortable around the dogs in just a couple of weeks and will now even cuddle with them.
Pax is currently in foster care with his sister, Moxie, who he just adores. We would love for them to be adopted together, but if not they will need a home with an existing cat for company or someone who is home a lot. Please see Moxie’s profile if you’re interested in adopting a pair: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/844527
Luckily for us, his nervous passing of wind has subsided and he was comfortable enough to explore the remainder of the house after a couple of days. He loves a gentle cuddle and falling asleep on or near you and comes to you when you call him. Tickles behind his ear are his favorite and he is happy to get them from any new face that enters the house. He loves to chase a piece of string and delicately hit it with his little paw.
His bathroom etiquette is impeccable, but the same can’t be said for his table manners :) This little boy loves to eat! And he will cross rivers to get to a plate of food (even if it isn’t his). While he is a cuddly, playful and fairly confident boy he is quite independent and is happy to sit or sleep without his humans around. He would be best suited to a generally calm and quieter house with older kids. He will either need a home with another cat for company or a family where someone is home more often than not.
If adopted together Paxton and Moxie’s adoption fee is $400, if adopted separately it will be $250 each. This covers their flea and worming treatment whilst in care, microchipping, first vaccination and desexing.
PLEASE NOTE: Paxton & Moxie are only available to homes in the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast area as they need be desexed at one of our local vets by the time they are 4 months old.
These 2 siblings are in foster care in New Lambton. If you are interested in adopting either or both of these kittens, please fill out our cat adoption form: https://form.jotform.co/93127959159875
