About Sokka
🐾💙 SOKKA 💙🐾
Introducing the super sweet Sokka from our "Avatar Litter" who is ready to find his furever home 💕
Sokka is the little baby of the litter. Sadly he was bullied by his litter mates :( but has learnt to stand up for himself since being seperated and love his sister, Toph, regardless 💖
He is very calm and doesn’t mind doing his own thing. Of course he wouldn’t say no to some cuddles 🥰 Sokka understands boundaries but can be a little dopey at times, similar to his brother Iroh he can go “off with the fairies” 🧚♂️🤣 but we love him for that!
Sokka is learning his basic training and is working on his toileting too 😊 Food is a big motivator for Sokka and he absolutely loves working for it! Enrichment toys will be needed in his new home to keep him and his mind active! A ball with food that comes out when it rolls is his favourite 🤩
Due to being the little guy, he can have some anxiety around high value food. Feeding him bones such as turkey neck from your hand will assist in learning no one will steal from him, so his furever family will need to continue working on this with him 🧡
After contracting parvovirus (all recovered now) Sokka now has a very sensitive tummy so can only eat a specific diet, his new family will need to be willing to continue this diet and slowly introducing new foods at very small amounts and very slowly 😊
All round Sokka is your typical “good boy”. He loves his humans, his bed, naps and food 😍 he doesn’t even sook at bed time! Sokka would be the best addition to any family as a lone dog or with a fur buddy 💕 He is great with kids, dogs and cats 🥰
If you would like to meet Sokka, please message for an application 💝
Medical notes
Will be desexed june 2021 by our affiliated vet.
Requires a specific diet.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
