About Katara
๐พ๐ KATARA ๐๐พ
Introducing the very sweet and playful Katara from our "Avatar Litter" ๐
Katara is very similar in personality to her sister Yue (who she is in care with), except she is more the follower.. she follows her sister's lead when learning new things ๐
She is a typical playful, affectionate puppy ๐ who loves her humans, always wanting to please them and smother them in kisses. Pats are great! ๐ Naps are also a favourite!
Katara is a well adjusted girl who will greet you with kisses when she meets you ๐ She is good with all other dogs, and cats, she is very respectful of cats and giving them their space ๐ She is also great with kids too!
She has started her toilet training, sometimes has occasional accidents as expected during her training ๐ Katara is very food orientated making training a breeze ๐
After contracting parvovirus (all recovered now) she now has a very sensitive tummy so can only eat a specific diet, her new family will need to be willing to continue this diet and slowly introducing new foods at very small amounts and very slowly ๐
Katara is an all round happy girl, who will do well in any family home ๐ she will be happy to be on her own or with other dogs, it won't phase her ๐
If you would like to meet Katara, please message for an application ๐
Medical notes
Will be desexed June 2021 by our affiliated vet
Requires a specific diet due to tummy upsets from parvovirus
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
